"With a fresh New Year started, so begins the 2013 Relay For Life season. Over the years, the Fashion community of Second Life has worked diligently to raise funds for the American Cancer Society and this year, with your help, we plan to take the world by storm.

This year's inspiration for Fashion For Life is Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. There are 7 themed SIMs, as well as 2 event SIMs:

Great Pyramid of Giza
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Colossus of Rhodes
Lighthouse of Alexandria

Fashion For Life runs from noon March 9th, 2013 to noon March 17th, 2013.

Designers are asked to contribute 3 new and EXCLUSIVE items to be sold only at Fashion For Life with 100% of sales going to Relay For Life."

One of the amazing creations of OrsiniRed (Hatili Ishtari) for the above charity event is the Neon Flower in Pink dress.
A truly fabulous dress which can be worn at any time of the day; from an afternoon stroll with friends to a cocktail party by the pool accessorized appropriately. When I put this dress on, I thought of a sunny spring afternoon, getting ready to have lunch with my girlfriends, potentially followed by some shopping.

Earlier today, I watched a video by the extremely talented machinima artist and videographer, Emanuelle Courtois. The video was created specifically for this charity event and I have to admit that it touched my heart. All I am going to ask from you is, to check the video out (LINK).

I, personally, have not been lucky enough to visit the SIMs created for the event and from what I have heard they are all fabulous. So many people have supported this cause and have volunteered their time and effort. So, please do spare some time to visit the SIMs and show your appreciation and support to this significant cause.
